I bought a replacement pump motor for my HWH 310 leveling system. But I can't figure out how to get the old pump motor off. I'm fairly good with this sort of thing but this ones got me. The motor has just two screws that go all the way through the motor with nuts on the other end to hold the two end plates on. So do I have to remove the manifold to get it out? I have searched HWH website but no luck. I am stumped. Please help.

My pump is a 'bolt-on' design with a flange being part of the motor end housing - this bolts onto the pump assembly itself via 2 machine bolts.. some are a 'weld-on' design according to this brochure...

Scroll down to the section on "Pump/ Motor/ Tank Assemblies"

You always call them too.. they're wonderful with phone support.

I just had mine off a couple of weeks ago. You just unscrew the two bolts to remove the old one . The nuts stay one the bolts, just hand tight when you install it. Mine quit working and all that was wrong with it was a bad connection on the two ground brushes. You can buy the motor on line for around 230.00. Hope this will help. Danwes

I assume your referring to the two small 6 to 8 inch screws that go all the way through the body of the motor?

Hi danny 124 Yes to the two screws. Just remove the screws and the nuts will stay in place. The nuts are on the screws to hold the motor together. On the new motor. just tighten the nuts hand tight and when you tighten the screws to the pump housing the screws will tighten also. Rember to align the pump shaft to the pump. Good luck. Danwes
