Just purchased a 2005 Scepter 38', 400 Cummins. Its only taken me three outings to find most of the features of this coach. So far its been great. Air leveling took a little to get used to. It had a Hydro-Lift on the back to carry a motorcycle, but sold it and now I need a tow hitch, but I don't suppose that will be to tough to get put on.

Bought an 03 HR Endeavor 34' with 8.3L 330HP Cummings (36k miles) and 7.5KW Onan diesel gen. a year ago. It has 3 slides. It was a one owner (fire chief) that was kept inside and well taken care of. Coriander counter tops and ceramic tile in kitchen and bath. Have not found anything I'd change. Did put in flat screen TV's. We tow a '13 Chevy Sonic RS or a Can-Am Spyder or the 2 Harley's (04 Deuce and 05 SE Vrod) depending on weather Nd where our travels will take us.
Only problem was sink drain flex hose (for slide) came loose. Have double clamped and keep an eye on it.

Owners manual says it should be driven. On occasion I just start mine and run but I also shift the transmission through the gears and run generator with the heat pumps on to load it. Mine is a diesel so may be different.

Bought a new 08 HR 38 NEPTUNE XL in fall of 09. Have used it all year round. Gone to a few NASCAR races 'til the got too corporate. Mainly go to bluegrass festivals. Have acquired a whole new set of friends. See some year after year in the same campsite and they sit in the same place at the festival. Mainly retired people during the school year. Enjoy parking lot picking an jamming as much as on stage. No some people who never go to the stage area. Some of the best pickers have never been on stage or played in a band. Have gone to festivals as close as 25 miles and as far as %00 miles.

Congratulations on your brand new used Holiday Rambler. Mine is a 92 32 5th wheel. It's our 3rd HR. The first was probably similar to yours and its still being used often by the next owner after me.

Bought 2001 HR Imperial, 42' long, 350 ISC Cummins, in Feb. Had to replace the exhaust manifold, (2Grand). Love it, great ride and drive. Been all over the southeast, maybe going out west next year. Replaced the TVs and satellite. Joined Coast To Coast and Sycamore Lodge, raring to go!
