We bought our 2002 HR Endeavor 40PDB in September, traded in a 30' class c Foreseter. LOVING all the space. Hubby is working a contract job in NC so we are living in it and finding all the little things that need to be fixed and just adding a few upgrades.
I HATE the carpet in the living area...when I asked a fix it guy about putting vinyl flooring in that area he said don't do it because the slide uses the carpet and will tear up the vinyl. He did not have experience with our make and model but had seen problems with other slides.
My question has anyone replaced the carpet in their 2002 HR Endeavor with hardwood or vinyl ? If so did you have a problem ? Thanks !

I have a 1995 Holiday Rambler Endeavor LE. Cummins/Oshkosh/Allison. Great Motorhome and just got it. 48k on the odo. My cruise control works sometimes and not others. I have no idea where to look for the controller nor what it would look like. I would love to hook up with someone that owns similar vehicle that might send me a pic of said controller and where it is. PLEASE HELP....
1999 42 CDS Navigator. Extremely pleased! Allison transmission with Freightliner chasis and Tag axle. One slide. Cummins 550. 58K on odometer; 2400 hours on the 10K Onan genset. About to refresh: Trojan T-105 house batteries; engineered laminate flooring to replace all carpet areas; and twin lounges to replace jack-knife sofa.
Last year, we were out from May-November traveling central US (Colorado) and then down the east coast from Portland Maine to Fort Myers Beach Florida. Preparing to travel early next year to California and tour the West coast...
1988 Class A Holiday Rambler AlumaLite on a P30 chassis. After 2 years she is "on the road again" and headed south to FL. You could not ask for a simpler, sweeter RV.
2009 Navigator 45' Bath & 1/2. 650 Cummins. 21,000 Miles. 10K Onan w/750 Hrs. 4-Slides. Can't wait to take first trip, but it's going to Cummins for complete fluid change & service first.
We have a 98 Imperial and the slide support roller is attached to the chassis frame, thus allowing the slide to extend and retract "riding the rollers" above the "main floor" surface. This among other factors helped us make the decision to replace the carpet with a 1/2" Bamboo "click & lock floating floor". Don't know your particular slide support arrangement, but I suspect yours may be similar to ours.
