The Motor House
We have a 2011 HR Ambassador. 53,000 miles and still running great. The Max Force 10 engine is more than enough for our 40' motor home. We tow a 2018 Jeep Wrangler with the Blue OX. We Love our Holiday Rambler.

Hello to all! We have a 93 HR Imperial, 37'. Its our 3rd unit. Checking it out was shocking. Like stepping into a time capsule. Dated for sure, but except for the sagging ceiling fabric in nearly perfect condition. Not bragging or exaggerating, like shocking good condition. This unit only had 1 owner before us. Sat for many many years though and that didnt play out well for us. Motor took a big poop after a few hundred miles. (yes we serviced the chassis end to end after we bought it) We decided to replace it with a Ford remanufactured 460. Lots of $$$ spent. We have more in it then its worth, and dont care! We love it! HR is an extremely well made coach. Craftsmanship you just dont see that much anymore, unless you spend 200K or more.

New kid on the block
Not sure where this goes, but I will try here. Just picked up a 2019 Holiday Rambler 38 K from General RV in Jacksonville this Saturday past. I don't see much communication on the newer models on this forum. If I am in the wrong place, could someone steer me in the right direction?

I cant find if I answered this yet, so count me in.
Had our new to us Endeavor for almost a year, went to Arizona for the Winter and back towing the Equinox, not a blip or hiccup the whole time, so very pleased with it.
Just over 60,000 miles which we put on about 6,000.
I didn't know this club was still active, and rolled over to the Monaco club?

2003 HR 26RB2 Battery recommendation/auto park
Still have my 03 HR 26RB2. Had a "little" glitch with the auto park brake switch or "rotten green switch" as MANY call it. IF you have the workhorse chassis with the auto park brake, have a spare with you! It will save you much headache down the road.
I am wondering what coach batteries you all recommend. Right now there are 6 volt wet cell running in series. They are deader than dead. I need to replace them. Any thoughts?
Off to Sturgis this year!

I've been using Costco ( Interstate) 6 volt deep cycle batteries for years and have had good luck with them. If you need more amp hrs and don't have room for 4 - 6 volt batteries then get the measurements for the Trojan batteries that are taller. Trojan brand is a very popular one. Keep 'em charged.

Thanks, guess I should have mentioned I am trying to get away from wet cell. My battery compartments are tight and I dislike the fluid checks and fills. I have been looking at AGM.

Hi! 2015 Holiday Rambler Ambassador. We do love the layout but we've had a few issues since buying it used. Our kitchen slide will not work. We are getting a fault high voltage code (#14). We have tried taking the switch off and pressed motor 1 and 2. Its continues to flash. Is there a reset button on the control module? Is there anything anyone can think of that can help us fix this.

If you cannot find a reset button, try removing the power to the unit. Pulling the correct fuse or shutting off the coach battery cutoff might do it. Leave it off for a few minutes.
