Newmar 4011

We bought a 2004 4011 Newmar DSDP from the original owner with 30K miles. Paid $80K and paid cash. Run drives and looks like a new one because it is a quality coach and it has always been stored inside when not on the road. We'll keep it as long as our health holds out.

No way would I buy a new one. After owning this diesel pusher, I would never go back to a gasser.

How old is your coach? How long will you keep it?

2006 Mandalay 40E. We are the third owners and bought it three years ago with 36,000 miles on it. It has 65,000 miles on it today and I doubt we will ever get rid of it. We love the floorplan, everything works and the Cummins/Freightliner combo is hard to beat. I love driving this thing...I'd rather drive this than my car.

We keep it inside the aircraft hangar behind the coach in this picture. It's heated and I can keep it plugged in.

She's 15 years old and the Ford chassis and V-10 Triton has been trouble free. Some minor house issues, nothing but normal wear though.

We talk about upgrading all the time, but can hardly see what we'd be gaining that could justify the expense. We have two long trips planned in the next few years, one from Arizona to Alaska, and another from Arizona to New England. I'm sure she's up for the trips.

Our 2003 Dynasty has a build date of Feb 2002 so technically 13 years old now. We purchased it in Feb. 2007 and it had 55k miles on the odometer. This is our third coach and we love it. I have put a lot of TLC into her and plan on keeping her for probably 10 or so years yet. My wife and I are only in our mid-40's so we hope to upgrade one more time to get us through retirement. This one should provide many more miles and nights until then. She runs like a top and we are looking to get her painted within the next year or two. I had to touch up some areas last year but it bought us a couple of years before needing a paint job.

I see many have garages to keep their coaches in. I wish I did but ours has to sit outside unfortunately.

Here she is last fall in Moab at an RV Rally hooked up to our 26' enclosed trailer that we haul our Jeep and Harley in.

She turned over 100k miles last week on our way to an RV Rally in Texas.

I told my wife that the goal is now to see it roll over 200k on the odometer.

Ours is a 98 Allegro Bus 39-M. Bought it 3yrs ago with 68k, we now have 78k. We have done quite a bit to the coach, new flooring, pluming fixtures, new electronics, removed the sun baked decals, but it has been fine mechanical wise. We really enjoy the coach.

We are in the process of trading up right now. The main reason is some of the furnishings ar too small for me, queen size bed just ain't getting it. And the salon recliner is made for little people. I'm 6'3' 200lbs and like to stretch out. So we found a Winnebago Sightseer 37L that has the King size bed, Ahhh. So we will go from a 2004 to a 2010 but there will be some compromises the Southwind has more features than the Winnie. Such is life.

we bought our Palazzo 2014 at early 2013.... My wife and I were more "world travelers" but bought our "last" MH first to travel with the kids... we will continue to do this when the kids don't want to be with us anymore.... not sure what will happen, but my wife and I will always have some form of RV with us. You cant beat the simplicity of the lifestyle....

1998 Pace Arrow Vision here.

Bought in 2013 with 36,000 miles. Plan to full time starting sometime later this year (selling house). Plan to keep it until we can't use it any more.
