How to Adjust Slide Out

I am having a problem with my bedroon slideout. It will only slide about half way then stops. Any ideas on how to make adjustments. Has an electric motor drive. I have been under the bed spraying the guide rail with silicone, still no luck

Thanks

I would think the slide is jamming about halfway out. It could be getting in a bind. If you free up the slide, you could move it in and out to see if it moves freely. This is easier on some units than others. Also, if you disconnect the slide, the motor should be free to turn. Some slides have stop switches that detect when the slide is fully extended or fully retracted while others use a torque gauge that tells the motor when to stop.

You might want to put the slide out manually. This will tell you if the slide is binding or the motor is kicking out to soon due to a malfunctioning switch. Just trying to narrow things down.

Not sure how to manually slide it out. I do see where the motor is under the bed, but I am not sure what to use.

Ours has a 8x12 removable paneling midway on the side of the bed. Then we insert a socket and ratchet the slide out. Don't know if this will help
