Have decided to just order a new control board, will be ordering the UIB-S with mounting kit from R&G Electronics.....the mounting kit has a plate that will use the 2 holes currently in the water heater, then the board and cover will mount to the plate with 4 fasteners....$110+shipping....will be calling shortly to have it started on its way to my home!!.....

Thanks for the help everyone....I sure hope this fixes it....I am ready for some HOT WATER!!!!!.....

I just called R&G Electronics to order the new Dinosaur UIB-S Circuit board with 2-tab mounting kit.....man, I tell ya, there is a nice company to deal with....very pleasant, very informative, very knowledgeable.....even gave me the unlisted Dinosaur Tech Support number for any possible future warranty work or just to call for help diagnosing any of my RV's refrigerator, furnace, or water heater problems.....and the prices for the board were slightly less than other places I have found online......with USPS Priority Mail, the guy said that it would be there by Thursday at the latest.....

I recommend this online company to any with circuit board needs or for information on tech support for the items I listed above....

Happy RV'ing to all!!!

Did you try a new thermocouplar? I see you are now goign to replace the board, that is a possibility, but it sounds like the board does not know there is a flame, and it goes into lockout? They are so tempermental! I am curious to what you find.
