Got to the campground last Sunday and lo & behold, the jacks will not extend.

Called Newmar & HWH and did some electrical troubleshooting. The setup is a 310 manual jack arrangement with the electric control module on the firewall next to the steering column (really accessable!). What happens is that when I push a down button, the motor starts briefly and then stops. We were able to isolate (I think) the problem to no 12v. power coming to the single tan wire in the 3-wire quick disconnect entering the HWH module box.

The problem is no one can tell me where the fuse/brfeaker is that controls power to that wire (light tan). I have looked everywhere I can think of, under hood, dash fuse panel, bedroom breakers & fuses and fuses in power compartment. No joy - they all are good.

Can anyone suggest a power source?

Mark, have you checked wiring to motor and ground if there is one, motor maybe grounded to frame of chassis, sounds like you have power but a loose or dirty connection maybe causing your problem. The motor starts but not a good connection. Also fluid in reserve tank is full with all jacks up? You can also go to "FIND" type in "hwh jacks" take off check 322 bits of info I beleive.

Is your parking brake set?

Brakes set, shorting across the terminals on the starter soleniod causes the pump to run and stay running until I break the connection.

Fluid level is full with jacks up.

Still no joy.

Were you able to find anything up in "FIND" 322 posts that might help you.

On my spec sheets it shows fuses located next to pump relay plus gnd cable to frame do you have a operators manual? "007"

I had a simular problem recently and the fuse was blown due to a faulty solenoid valve. The fuse kept blowing till the solenoid valve was replaced. The fuses on my 04 Scotsdale are located in the HWH box that is under the hood right by the solenoid vavles, left side of the box. The box has a clear plexiglass cover. I am going a little from memory here, so I may be a little off.

You might take all the fuses out and plug them back in again. Had a 40 amp fuse (under the hood) in my 2003 KS that had dirty contacts. When I tried to put the jacks down the lights came on but no motor. Un pluged the 40 amp main fuse cleaned the contacts and it works fine now.

Congratulations Rick - you got the right answer! I didn't even know there was a fuse there. Cleaned the contacts and presto - we have jacks again.

Glad I could help Mark - we KSDP (also 3703) have to stick together.
