While my 2002 Itasca was in the shop for electrical issues I also discouvered a rear slide hydraulic leak. The good news is I have learned HWH is aware certain motorhomes are experiencing this problem and will replace these lines under a recall. I suspect there are many others out there with this same issue.

I had an 02 Chieftain that was plaqued with hydraulic leaks. Kept taking it in to get it fixed. One place tightened the connectors (which only made them worse), another changed out the ram on the front slide. Finally took it HWH in Moscow Iowa.
I was informed that they had received a batch of bad hoses, connectors, and had no idea where they went after leaving Moscow.
Long story short. They replaced all the lines and from that point on, until I traded, I never had any problems.
Recommend calling them. They are a good bunch of people to work with.
