Has anyone replaced the 12 volt motor/pump on the HWH Series 610? The positive post has become loose and is sparking when energized. First thought was that I had a loose cable but no such luck. If I try to remove the nut, I am afraid the post will twist off. If anyone has replace one is there anything I should know before I start?

Usually those motors are a lot like a 12 volt starter motor. If you take the unit off I would find a alternator/starter rebuild shop in your area and take it in and let them see if they can fix it.

Have you looked through the HWH technical documentation to find the one that would apply? HWH Customer Service Might save you some headaches in the end.

Thank you Dave. I have called HWH and am waiting for a call back. They must be busy. I never thought about the web page. Thanks again.

Update; Getting ready to travel and you know how it goes, you always wait for the last minute to get things fixed. Anyway HWH has the pump for $260 plus shipping. Sounds like it won't be that hard to replace. I won't even have to drain the reservoir.

I will come back and let you all know if it is as easy as HWH said.

I had a problem with my HWH air leveling brain box. Excellent customer service from them.

Yes I know but this comes with new relays, cables and O-rings. I could have also had it rebuilt for about the same amount but I opt for the whole set-up instead. Probably still paid more then I should have but.......
