HWH Single Jack Sticking Horizontal
I have been struggling with a single sticking jack. The Jacking cylinder extends but doesn't come down. It's actually the extension cylinder that doesn't extend it to the vertical position. I have sprayed all the pivot points with WD 40. It does work intermittently but I have to pull it down a few inches before it will work properly most of the time. The pump is working fine and I took the control panel apart and cleaned all the electrical contacts on the joystick. This is on a 2000 Damon Challenger and the jack is the 6000 lb. AP7164 Jack. This is the one with the Cables on either side. The only thing I didn't think to do was lubricate the small cylinder that pushes the actuator down.
Any "I did this" experiences will be gladly accepted.
As a side any recommendations for load spreading pads to go under the jack feet?
PS I called HWH today and they said they were backed up 3 months on tech
