Hi All,

We just had a bad experience with my HWH 610 system on my 01 Alpine 36' FDDS. When we attempted to leave the campground yesterday, my wife told me that the LR slide was not retracting. Upon further investigation I noticed that there were no power lights to the control pad. The only thing that worked was the gen slide - and it would only extend - not retract. We searched for hours - first for the HWH control boxes and then we checked every fuse we could find and none were blown. All of the other 12V power was working. BTW - it was a 'real pain' to retract the room slide and the gen slide by hand! Any one had any similar experience with their HWH TouchPad?

Thanks in advance!

You might find some insight from these posts below. In my case, because of the way Winnie wired the coach, I blew a fuse. I think I was operating the driver's power window and the jacks at the same time... (there are two fuses in my 325 system at the dash; one is for touchpad power, the other is for the dinger alarm bell).

Also consider doing an "advanced search" (magnifying glass icon above) and using key word 'HWH power'

I have an 02 Mountain Aire pusher with HWH 610 jacks. Shortly after taking delivery the control/key pad was'nt lighting up and jacks would not work. I called HWH ,,explained the problem and they said the keypad was the culprit. They sent a new pad and I installed it ,,no problem since. I returned defective pad to HWH, no charge.

Hope this info helps----- AJBJRVERS

Haven't had any problem (knock on wood) with ours, but from others, both on this forum, in in conversations with others, HWH has an excellent reputation for standing behind their products. COuldn't hurt to give them a call.

Take care.

I had a problem too, it was the parking brake switch went bad. Did a quick temp fix by attaching a jumper wire from the wire to ground. Replaced switch (on parking brake pedal) for $8 and solved the problem.

Best Regards!

Chet from the Alpine forum clued me in on the solution - the touchpad connector had come off.

When I went to re-attach it, I noticed one pin from the touchpad had broken off in the connector.

Besides the pin problem, now I have two other problems... it looks like I striped the screw on the room slide extend solenoid and when I let the system self-level, the gen slide came out all by itself and it won't go back in. I'll make a call to HWH tomorrow and find out my options.

Thanks for the help,

Pat
