I hope you have a helmet that will protect you once Sarah has a word with your DW.

Some folks love simplicity and find their zen in it. Others have to have all the gadgets. Think they are happiest when they are miserable with problems!
I definately like the basic comforts. But do I need power everything? Nope. I am at the point where I need to spend less time on equipment and more time on adventures.
As far as debt goes, I have a longstanding policy - no debt for toys. Toys are bought out of the surplus from work as a reward.

Sounds like you live in a mud hut back in the woods, own one set of clothes, and wash them by jumping in the creek once a week!
Ignorance is bliss, but some find that same bliss through deliberate choice.

I like debt. Bank takes all the risk. Payments keep me motivated to stay busy at work.
I'll worry about payments once I retire. Based on current debt load......that'll be when I'm about 100 years old. LOL

Thank you, wincrasher!
We started out simple, long ago and far away, with a pup tent and a hatchet. And, yes, we were very sad when the dinosaurs died.
Simplicity, improvising, and enjoying it.
The journey is our destination now. Wonder where we will NOT hurry to next?

THUMB to you, pawpaw!
"Out here" is now Bullhead City AZ. But, we know our way around here now, so time to move on. Will figure out where.
Yes, many places and faces to see!
Here is a recent one: Nelson, NV

Very close. In a previous life we had 40 acres of woods with trout stream, a mile from Lake Superior, and a 16 foot '59 Winnie trailer. A grand place to escape during our kids formative years. And it was a deliberate choice. Improvising ruled up there!
Happy trails!

Having plenty of debt is my way of being sure someone will be at my funeral. Before creditors write off a bad loan, they'll be sure I'm gone for sure!

I've heard that you can't miss what you never had. Now there's another whole batch of things I have to learn to miss...?

Having no debt is our way of prolonging life and postponing the undertaker. No stress or worries. We started clearing the decks 5 years ago for full time beginning next June or thereabouts. Got rid of the old B Van - no more pool to clean or grass to cut as we moved to an apartment 3 years ago. Bought the Bounder last August and it will be paid for by retirement time next year. Sleep much better now and will be even better when we hit the road. We don't have all the amenities in ours but we will have what we need. No debt was the first requirement. Unemcumnered money in the bank was second. Try it, you'll like it. Or maybe not. You can always run up more debt.
