Many truckers use their opposite turn signal to flash a TY after they have pulled in ahead of you. It's simple and safe to reach.

I don't flash my lights or follow the directive of those that do.

Today I just don't trust other drivers. Some may have motives other than being helpful.

When passing I wait until I see I'm clear in my monitor and mirrors before pulling back into the right lane. And I don't have the distraction of watching for the flash or hitting an ICC switch.
