Current Motorhome magazine, p. 77 deals with this topic. I've called one dealer of these products and they recommend Koni RV shocks for my Freightliner XC chassis with IFS, since I get an occasional bottoming out over railroad tracks, etc. Anyone out there tried these shocks, and what is your opinion?

This has been a topic many times. Do a search "Find" for Koni you will find the subject.

I just installed the Konis on my XC because I was also bottoming on sharp road imperfections. The shocks helped the ride but the bottoming still happens to a lesser degree. I am going to check ride height next and see if my front airbags are releasing too much air under hard compression.

Good luck

Paul

I've heard a lot of good comments about the Koni's and I'm considering putting them on my coach when the budget allows. They are adjustable, so if your coach sitll bottoms out, you can tighten them up to provide more damping. Of course, checking the ride height is a good idea too.
