My method with RTV works great.

They were GREAT over the phone.....I didn't need to "prove" anything...the gal on the phone (Sorry I am not good with remembering names) looked my purchase info up right there on her computer screen, and said,
"JUst send it in, I'll get a replacement sent asap"
Best phone customer service I have received in a long time. 
Now we'll see how long it takes for the replacement to arrive..

Request: Pressure Pro pics and opinions
Tire sending units stay locked on?
How difficult to remove to add air and replace?

I have the system and am happy it and with customer service since the Colorado distributor gave it up.
The sensors have no locks but are not easy to get off without the tool provided. The outside wheel with the stem pointing in is a bit of a pain to remove and install. One almost needs a seperate tool designed to fit around the valve stem.
I would recomend this system to anyone that does not want the expense of dismounting tires. One less worry on the road.

The Gorilla glue on the stem side of the sensor to prevent the shell from spinning so you can put it on and off without the tool worked perfectly. Held solid and makes install and removal quick and easy. If you are not concerned with the theft deterrent provided by the spinning shell, this worked for my inner rear duals and was the recommended method by TST.

Batman ...not clear which post you are asking about, but the answer undoubtedly is "TST" as that is the system this thread has been discussing. There are other threads that discuss Pressure Pro.
Has anyone had problems with their TST sensors after removing them to adjust air pressure, and putting them back on?

I have taken them off the car when the MH was in storage and re-installed them with out problems.
I have noticed, at times, a couple of them will quit sending a signal. Not sure what that's about.

I have tajen them on and off without any problems. You do get a little loss when doing so, but very small. You must remember that it can take up to 5 minutes before you get a new reading after reinstalling a sensor.

I just read TST accumulates the data every 6 seconds but only updates the monitor every 5 minutes? Whoa!!!
If that's correct, 5 minutes is way too long. Pressure Pro updates the monitor every 7 seconds with the readings from each tire.
Hmmm,,, I wonder if Pressure Pro also updates the monitor only once every few minutes. A lot can happen in 5 minutes.

The TST has an alarm feature on both the psi and temp, that if there is a big change, then the alarm goes off. The means that you are subject to getting an alarm in 6 seconds if there is a problem.
