I have a 02 Winnebago Adventurer 35U on a Workhorse chassis and the cruise control is intermittant. It will work for several miles then die, sometimes going over a bump will shut it off. Fuse is ok. The rig has 10k miles and I wonder if their are wiring problems or possibly a ground problem. Another problem, maybe related, is the windshield wipers will move when I turn the ignition key off. Any fix-it suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

CHeck to be sure the brake light switch is adjusted properly as this will turn off the cruise control. I would think the wipers should only come on with the key in on position. Look for loose connections also. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Thanks RV Wizard. I inspected the brake light switch as you suggested, and the brake pedal had about 1/32" of freeplay before engaging the brake light switch. I then screwed the brake light switch in one turn and now the pedal freeplay is about 1/4" which apparently has eliminated the intermittent cruise control problem caused by pedal vibration blinking the brake lights. I test drove the rig over some stretches of rough roads with the cruise control on and it stayed constantly engaged.

Thanks again RV Wizard.
