Inverter buzzing

The Dimension 300w inverter that came in my 2004 Minnie Winnie buzzes when used, the frequency of the buzz is load related. And if i plug 60w incandescent light into it it pulses. Are both of these to be expected ? I know it is a MSW and was designed for the TV.

I'm looking for a way to power our parrots heater while we are driving so we don't need to keep the rig super warm all over.

Any help would be great. Thanks

It Humms because it doesn't know the words.

Seriously, it might be on its last leg. Check the fan and make sure it is still works. The noise may be the fan bearings wearing out.

You can buy a new 400 watt inverter for $27 at Amazon. This one has over 300 reviews and a 4 star rating.

I think Loves sells that Cobra too. The only reason I'm even trying to get this one to work is the auto transfer switch. I have not found one for less than $60.
