My personal experience as mentioned in an above post was 100% negative with C.W of Myrtle Beach SC. Yuk! That's being polite. However, in the big picture Marcus has bought some long existing reputable dealerships that I assume still have long term knowledgable techs and management? Like most buy outs unfortunately corporate sends one of their "trusted" goons in to oversee the operation. IMO, morale buy being bought out is already low, so service and most qualified folks leave. Yes, there are exceptions but very few. One such buy out of Tom Johnson in Concord and Marion NC is an example to watch. Being both a Newmar and American Coach franchise it will be interesting to watch the tic tock of time for these properties. Will they maintain their high standards or fail miserably like other such buy outs?

Lol, here it is the opposite, Marcus bought out all the Tom Raper stores in Ohio and Indiana, with this purchase Marcus can go nowhere but UP! Im not sure how they ever stayed in business. We went to the one in Cincinnati before the complete change over and the salesman was ticked about it I guess. He was aggravated we asked him to look at a coach on the lot where he had to walk through the snow and cold. He opened it up asked if we were ready to buy and we said not at the moment we were just shopping. Last conversation we had with him, he locked the coach we went inside he saw someone he knew and he disappeared and was never seen again. He didn't ask our name nor told us his. They have their work cut out for them at that store.
