What parts are you looking for? It's possible that someone on these boards could tell you the chassis from your VIN number... I had a '88 Winnie 33' with a GM chassis; it was a P-30 Chassis. Likely yours is a P-30 also, or possibly a P-32. Not a big difference. Is your coach a "wide body" (i.e.- up to 102" wide)? If so, it's a P-32.

Yes it is a wide body.
The parts are the brake calipers.
Got some from NAPA, they got our old ones and the new calipers do not fit. Now they want the chassis #.

A quick check with CARFAX's free service indicates that vin as a 1989 Chevy P-30 chassis.
Hope that helps.

Thanks "Ole Joe".
Now for another Question. Has anyone got a surefire way to find what is causing "hot skin", on the RV??? Have tried many things, now we are down to completly disconecting the power main cord, didn't really want to go that far, but if that is it we will.

On an RV the ground and neutral wires should never be hooked together. Occasionally a previous owner will wire these wires together somewhere in the coach. Connecting the ground and neutral is ok in a home but verboten in an RV.

It is interesting to look at 1995Brave explaintion of GM Vin numbers.

Question? How many of the assembly plants listed are still in business? One or two

Isn't the chassis number on a P-30/32 located on the upper right side of the firewall viewed from the front? I was told by Workhorse (who bought the Chevy/GM chassis) that in order to get the correct parts for a particular chassis, you need this number. I went through the same calamity this past summer with NAPA trying to supply a local RV service center, it was a complete CF! I still question whether I have the "correct" calipers and shims in place.
