It may rain today; ok to use Dicor on roof?

I'm getting ready to install a couple of 360 siphon vent caps on my coach. This requires some Delcor self-leveling roof lap. Trouble is... 50% chance of rain this weekend...

Ideally I'd wait it out, but just wondering if anyone has experience using this product and then rain exposure, and if you went back up on the roof to inspect it after??

I just replaced a broken bathroom vent the other day and used dicor sealant. It rained the following day and I went up after to inspect and everything looked great. I removed all of the old sealant before installing.

If concerned, read the label on the tube and see what the Company recommends or wait for a sunny day. Best of luck and let us know how you made out.

Happy RV'ing

Not meant to be smart, but what do the directions say?

I know the tape product mentions when it can get wet.

Directions suggest longer wait time. I would be going against that advice and thus seeking personal experiences of other who may have too.

It may rain today; ok to use Dicor on roof?

Shaggy dog- I decided not to chance it yesterday and I returned my coach to her storage garage yesterday afternoon. Went back there today and installed the caps in the garage bay. Had to duck upon arrival on the rood, where the garage door was, but then I could crouch/walk up there to get the job done.. They turned out great! Thanks for asking!

Glad you were able to git the job done. When I did mine it was pretty easy. I thought had everything I needed but nope had to go back down the ladder and get a drill for pilot holes. So much for planning before I did the job. Anyway glad it worked out for you and you were able to get the RV out from the rain.

Happy RV'ing
