Jack-knife bed won't fold up...

Help...

We are camping with the grandkids and one of the jack-knife sofas in our 2005 Fleetwood Revolution will not fold back up. We folded it out for a bed last night and now it won't go back to its sofa state. Anybody have any tips that might assist me???

Hi fansill,
I've found three things will keep the bed from folding up into a couch.
1. There is usually a drawer under the bed. Sometimes things in the drawer get caught as the low point of the bed frame passover the drawer.
2. Seat belts get caught in the frame.
3. Gkids "lose" items in the bed frame.

faith,
i have to ''help'' my sofa get started folding by pushing on it. there is a 25 amp circuit breaker on my 12v house electric panel. that thing uses a lot of current and it doesn't help if your house battery bank voltage is low. if that is the case, running your coach engine at fast idle should help. running your genny will help too, but will not produce the amps that your engine alternator will.
12.6-12.8v= a fully charged battery
12.0-12.1v= a 50% discharged battery.
11.75v= a 75% discharged battery.
10.5v= a 100% discharged battery.

I meant to thank you earlier, but we finally got the sofa bed to fold back up. It took two twelve year olds and one old lady...(me), do push and pull together to make it move. I am going to try and lubricate the joints under the sofa to make it move a little easier next time.
