Jay plus ex.protection info

Need information or guidance, I should say, about extended warranty. Our 2011 jayco Melbourne is about to go out of factory warranty next month, curious as what we should do. Any info or thoughts would be deeply appreciated. As you may assume, this is our first "rodeo"! Thank you.

You are the best one to decide on whether to go with an extended warranty or not. Have you had any problems with your rig that would cause concern when the factory coverage expires? I can appreciate what you are going through having just purchased a 2011 GeorgetownXL MH with 4600 miles on it, last Friday! Dealer giving us a 30 warranty and DW and I have been going back and forth on whether or not we should spend an additional $2100 for an extended warranty. Interesting, created a "poll" on the Forest River, GT, forum asking this question about extended service contracts, and about half responding have bought them on new/used purchases.
Good Luck with your decision.

A zillion words have already been written her about extended warranties. Pro & Con. Best and worst. Cost. You name it. May I suggest using the Search function to find previous message threads about 'extended warranty'?
