Jayco door / latch assembly / alignment issues

Two questions:
1) Anyone know who makes the camper door latch assembly / door assembly for Jayco? I was messing with door alignment this weekend and managed to break the interior door handle. It's aluminum and I don't trust my local dealer to get me the right part this century.

2) I have a "gap" - not much, but it's there and causes wind noise at the bottom of the camper door. As far as I can tell, the striker and latch are not very adjustable in terms of in/out. Is the proper way to adjust a misalignment from top to bottom on the non-hinge side to actually bend the door a bit? Tips/tricks suggestions appreciated....

Here's a look at the latch and striker mechanisms:

You can email your vin and issue to Jayco. They can supply the correct part number.

I tried Jayco - they told me to talk to the local dealer. The local dealer is an hour round trip and this is not a good part to order over the phone. Additionally their "parts and service" reviews are not positive.

I know that 2006+ latches were made by Fastec. I'm still digging around to see if I can find a visual match, assuming Jayco won't tell me who makes it.

Jayco provided the name of the manufacturer - Bauer - after being pushed a bit.

I asked Bauer for a replacement part or number - they offered me a free interior assembly...

Good day in the RV repair world... Did I mention that it was my fault that it got broken?
