Jetco Air Suspension System

I am trying to fix my jetco system. I can't get under the RV to check it. I would like to air it up. I put an air hose from another compressor to the valve on the tank. I was hoping it would raise up but nothing happened. Are there some valves I need to turn or something? I tried the switches but nothing happened. Anyone have any idea how to air up the system with an external compressor?

Apparently your signature has a previous coach listed. What chassis is it you are having problems with? If the coach has leveling jacks; use them to lift the coach for access. Be careful and put some jack stands under the frame rails when you get it up.

No its the right one. It was actually given to me. It only has 40k miles on it. It was missed used by someone that didn't know how to use the bags and jacks. The jacks don't work either. I thought I could get the air in and it up enough to work on it. I do have 4 jackstands ready to go under it.

Bill,
On my 97 Adventurer w/ Jet Co. air bags, I never could find a place to add air externally. The compressor pump activates with HWH levelling system. Do you have the schematic drawing for the Jet Co. system? I'll try to post it here for you.

Bill,
Since you can't get under the RV, why not back the rear tires up on some blocks? That'll give you a bit more space.

Thank you LT46, I didn't have that drawing. Mine has an air valve (like one an inner tube) at the tank on the opposite end of the compressor. It actually has an airline hooked to it right now. With pressure added nothing happens. Unfortunately I don't have any large rocks to pull on. I do have some thick boards though. If I can't get the air to work I will drive on them. LT, do I have to have my HWH system on before my jetco system will work?

Bill,
Don't hold me to this because I'm just not 100% sure, but, I hear my compressor start when I start-up the motorhome. This continues until the ride height is reached. However, when I'm on my campsite with engine off, to level the coach my ignition key goes to the ACC position, parking brake ON and the HWH level panel will turn on. This is when I hear the air bags begin to deflate and jacks come down. So, to answer your question; the air bags must be tied into the HWH system somehow, in order for the above to happen.
I spoke with both Winnie and Jet Co. regarding this system and both outfits sent me an operation/owner manuals for it. Each had similar information but the Winnie one was more specific regarding their installation. Might try a phone call to Winnie and request one. Best of luck.
