Hello All:
I hope someone can help me. I have just picked up a 1994 Newmar Kountry Aire MH and there were no keys to the compartments. The number 500 appears on all of the locks. My local Jayco dealer (only one around here) said that they don't carry a number 500 key. Does anyone know a source where i could get these by mail? any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Harold.

Welcome to iRV2.com, Harold!

Newmar Customer service should be able to help you (1.800.731.8300). Have your VIN number ready (they can access the coach's records with it) and they should be able to help.

We needed extra compartment keys for our coach, I called them up and asked to buy them, they actually gave them to me no charge!

Good luck!
Stewart

The Trimark TM500 key is one of the most common RV bay door locks. Your Jayco dealer must have his head in the sand if he doesn't know that and have a drawer full of them somewhere. Don't worry - if he doesn't have one, most any other RV dealer will. The 500 is used on numerous makes and models. I even have them on my Fleetwood American Tradition.

It is a good idea to wire a spare set under your RV in a out of the way spot a theif would not find for emergencies once you get your keys. I also have a starting key well hidden in the coach.
