You're missing the shock boots which I believe are sold seperately.

I have never seen KONI shock boots for sale. Yet all the pictures of installation shows a metal boot with KONI logo on it. Has anyone installed KONI shocks and found the same issue?

The front shocks have the metal sleave, the backs don't. I installed them just the way they came.

These are the front shocks
Did you have eye bolts on both ends?

My 8805-1004's didn't have any boots- install them and they will be ok.
Just looked and after 3 years-- no rust.

I just had my new Koni's installed today on the front axle of my 43' Monaco Exec and there really was a dramatic difference for the better. No boots, but a lifetime warranty. Had it done at Precision Frame and Alignment in Elk River MN. Rob, the owner, has done hundreds of Konis and I am sure could answer any questions. Ph 763-241-9474. I would have installed the rears also, but they are factory backordered till June.
