Anyone know of a good source for a Kwikee Step control module 909513. This is the yellow one. It's on my 1990 Bounder. I just did the Ford Taurus motor swap so now the motor works. I did the test feeding white and red leads to 12v and grounding/ungrounding brown and nothing. Everything else checks out fine. Don't want to spend a fortune on a new one if I can avoid it. The link on this forum about the Ford Taurus window lift motor was a life saver. Got one for $16 at Ecology Auto Recyclers. So cheap I bought a second for a spare. Now just need the controller. Any advice is appreciated.

You may find it difficult/impossible to find a 1990 type controller -- when I upgraded my 91 controller I switched over to one of the newer models which required me to replace the magnetic door switch. The newer controllers operate differently than the old models and require a magnetic door switch which works opposite of the old ones. You can find new model controllers on EBay, Amazon etc. Another alternative maybe having someone repair your old controller -- recall there is at least one outfit that provides that service - worth a Google.

Gave up and installed a manual switch for $15. Works for me.

You might try these guys RV Electric Step Controls Rebuilding Service | RV Controls . They rebuild some of the older boards. (For some reason I can't get the clicky function to work. It has worked fine for many years.) EDIT It does supply a clicky but won't let me add my text as the site title.
