I looked at previous forums but there's nothing about KYB vs. BILSTEIN shocks, so here we go. KYB shocks for my Class C are $339.96 plus tax and Bilsteins are $319.96 plus tax. Is the $20 plus tax difference worth it? Or are the Bilsteins still better? Let me know. Thanks!

I selected Bilstein's after reading some of the threads on this site discussing shocks and suspension improvement. They are much better than the OEM for my rig. I can not help in comparing them to KYB's

I would look around. I know you have a Cl.C but I just saw this Ad @ a local MH showroom store. 2 Front Bilsteins plus front stabilizer shock for a P30 Cl.A for $169.00 for all 3. If I didn't have my heart set on Konis I would take them. Good Luck

Bilstein is in the process of updating their shock build so that is creating a gap in orders. Any new orders of F4-BE5-2570-H0 (new part # 24-025706) are delayed until the end of Oct 2013. Just an FYI.

Still haven't got my Konis and I thinking next time. And go with the Bilsteins now. Got to get Tires before anything else.

Is there a noticeable difference with the new ones. I 'm sure there will be but I mean out on the highway, smoother, Better handling? I think Koins are the best (JMO) but the Bilsteins are right under them. I'm not sure about the KYB's
Any insight?

I had a 95 Vectra on the F53 chassis. The shocks on it needed replaced when I got it, though it seemed to drive down the road nicely. However, with a strong side wind, it felt like the coach was going to blow over.... literally. It was quite scary. I installed a new set of Bilsteins, and the difference was simply amazing. Nothing fazed the coach after that, and it handled much better. Sure made a believer out of me.

I can't compare the Bilsteins to any other shocks, but they certainly gained a fan with the one set I installed.

I removed a newer set of Bilstiens and replaced them with Koni's. What a difference!!!!! much better ride

Still no report on KYB's? I see them advertised a lot, but know no one who has tried them. I will need some soon, but want the best bang for the buck, and Bilstein may not be it.

I'd save my money to buy the Koni's. I think you've been following the other posts about shocks comparing Koni to Belstein. I ordered the front Koni's for my F53 and replaced the Belstein's with less then 5,000 miles on them. Took it for a short drive hugh difference in the ride, I even tried to hit bad areas on the road, which there are a lot around here. I had the tires pumped up to 100 psi, normally run at 85. With the Belsteins if I had the tires at 100 psi it was like the coach had no springs or shocks. With the Koni's the rough road was barely noticeable. The best price for the F53 shocks is from Autoplicity Autoplicity.com That link is for the F53 front they also gave the rears 8805 1019 for the same price, if your looking for the P30 shock find P/N and search by it. I wouldn't use the vehicle search on their site because it didn't show they had the Koni's for the F53

Well, I looked up the P/N for the Koni P30 shocks 8805 1006*front and 8805 1007 rear for years 68 - 99. Doesn't seem to be anyone discounting them from list. I would have a hard time paying almost $200 each. That's why I bought the Bilstein's the first time around. Don't know how Autoplicity sells the F53 Koni's for $119.90 with free shipping.
