This can't be right. I got some Dicor 502-LSW to re-do the seams on my motorhome. It has a EPDM membrane roof and the RV store says to use that. I cleaned part of the seam and applied the sealant, where-ever the sealant touched the roof membrane bulged up and blistered the next day. It's been 3 days and it is still all blistered up.

Welcome to IRV2, ALO.

I would guess you have something coating the roof, maybe a "roof protectant" (wax or silicone) or something. Rubber-based lap sealants sometimes react that way to silicon-based substances, for instance. Try cleaning a small area with a wax removing cleaner such as ammonia and see if the sealant will stick after that.

You should probably call Dicor at (800) 837-2059 and ask for customer service or tech support.

I did scrub the roof with their roof cleaner first and even wiped the area I applied sealant to.
