It really needs some armor all before it gets UV damage.

Daily Double? What is something you have in your spare parts bin that you will never need?

It should move but maybe corroded. Spray with WD40.

OP----Trying to install a Fleetwood 354852 screen door latch lever. This latch keeps the screen door and front door attached together. The lever allows you to keep them attached or detach to have just the screen door closed. My problem is the lever will not move.

Plastic doesn't corrode, Original WD 40 is not a lubricant- Multi-use does contain a lubricant. WD40 is 50% mineral spirits.

Fleetwood screen door latch lever
I recently had a problem with my 2007 Southwind screen door latch lever, it would no longer hold the screen door to the Entry door. I did find a replacement on Amazon which seems to work fine. My concern in reading other comments on IRV2 about the latch levers was that the new replacement parts did not seem to last very long. I found a way to fix my original latch and I have pictures and details below.
