Leaking fresh water hose reel

I saw water dripping from the exterior control closet. Investigated and found the seal in the reel pivit is leaking. Does anyone know who Monaco purchased the fresh water hose reel from for the 2008 Diplomat. Maybe someone has a parts break down for such reel that would show parts and numbers for ordering. My owners manuel has very little info and there is no hose reel paperwork with the coach.

i would bet if you disassemle it in the leak area you will find a broken "o" ring
go to lowes match it up put a little vaseline on all surfaces and reassemble

This is my first time into that closet. It looks like I will have to remove everything in there to get to that reel. The slot the hose comes out of isn't large enough to get tools in there to get the reel apart. It looks like orthoscopic surgery to me.

The hose reel in my 2003 Winnebago is a Glendinning Hose Master. I don't see what it sounds like you are looking for in the manual. You can see it on their website at http://glendinningprods.com/hosemaster_rv.html .... there is also a parts list at http://glendinningprods.com/pdfs/hm_replace_part_list.pdf

You no doubt will have to pull it out to get to the leak if I correctly understand where it is. Mine is mounted in the water service bay with no cover over it, but just from looking at it, I would expect to have to remove it to do any service on it.

Mine is located behind the water service closet bay panel that everything else in the bay is mounted to.
I think I have found a way into it without having to disconnect everything else. It will still be tight. Once I have it out, I am fairly confident I can repair it. Wish me luck.
