my 96 safari has non leather seats is it better to try to get factory if available or
who has gone the aftermkt with leather captions chairs
i still think its cheaper to recover orig non leather seats then to buy complete seats
unless someone has a used set

Bill, if you like the fit of the seats you now have; take them out and send them to an upholsterer. They can do them far less than buying new or probably even used. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Bill,

Mike is right check out your local upholsterers first. On buying factory keep in mind that most factory seating is probably going to be FlexSteel or one of the other major suppliers so why pay the factory markup for a replacement FlexSteel seat instead of buying at the discount shop with the best price.

Bill, do the right thing, have them covered with sheepskin. It's the best covering for those long dayz in the saddle. we love ours
