Power Gear jacks measure the fluid level in the storage tank with a float valve, The theory is Tank full=Jacks fully retracted.

HOWEVER over time the tank looses fluid,, IN Jan/Feb the tank, like many things, is a bit smaller due to shrinkage due to lower temperatures.

The fluid, however, has a lower "Shrinkage" rate, so the tank overflows a bit, fluid is lost.

NOW comes the ... warmer momths, (Say August) the tank expands as it gets hotter and hotter, The fluid.. not so much.

So, what do you do.

Visually inspect the jacks, They should be fully retracted NO SILVER SHOWING, if silver shows, re-extend and lubricate as per owner's manual (Generally Spray dow with Silicon)

If no silver showing,, Add fluid (Usually Dextron III tranny fuild) as per manual.

Home is where I park it!
