Leveling jack issue

Folks I need some advise. I just bought a 2005 Damon Ultrasport. From time to time after I retract the Leveling jacks the audible warning device will alert and the leveler panel lights will flash. This occurs after I the jacks have properly retracted and the leveling controls indicate that the cycle is complete. Not sure what the reason is. Could use some advise.

Thanks

Not sure what you have, but some have a float in the fluid tank that controls that alarm. If you're sure the jacks are fully retracted, the tank level may just be a little low?

what brand are they?

power gear hydraulic jack have a float switch in the reservior. when the fluid level drops, it lights the jacks down light. if you start the engine with the jacks down light on, it triggers the alarm and flashing panel.

usual fix is to add fluid, level is low.

Not sure I understand what you mean by ..."from time to time". I have HWH jacks that will trigger the audible alarm when we are driving down the road. This is no big deal as it only indicates that the jack has been jostled slightly. Rather than having to fumble for the "store" button to correct the problem....I have learned to drive with the "store" button on the panel activated. This way when one of the jacks becomes dislodged, it automatically is pulled back into the proper position....the alarm goes off and everything is A-OK.
