I parked last night, leveled and went to bed. Woke up this morning and my curbside, rear leveling jack was 2 inches off the ground. It seems to have creeped up over night. Why would it do this? The MH seems to be as level this morning as it was last night.

Have you checked your fluid in tank when all jacks are up? Should be between the two lines on dip stick for vent to tank.

Are you sure the Jack was down when you went to leveled last night?

Double check to be sure it starts out all the way down. If it is and still rises, you probably have a leaky control valve for that jack - replacement is not a big deal. Or you could just be low of fluid in the hydraulic reservoir, but that raises the question of "why?". Might be a leak in the hydraulic system for the jacks.

Probably a bad solenoid or leaky hose... just a guess. Call or email HWH. Email works.

Make sure the manual bypass is closed all the way; otherwise fluid can bleed through and the jack will retract. If it is tight then you probalby have a faluty valve and it will have to be replaced.

Thanks for all the input. I will take a closer look a the fluid and work through these ideas. It will be a few days before I will be back at the MH and I will let you know what I find.

On our 94 with manual leveling, we would drop the rear jack that had the least to travel until it hit the ground...then finish leveling. If we did not go back and reset the first jack on the ground, it would always be up about two inches when we checked them. Apparently the others would raise the chassis and you would never realize it. May be the same happening to you.
