hi we have a 2005 Damon Intrude all jacks deploy properly but when retracting left front does not retract without assistance, when prying into place, fluid leaks from reservoir.

I have moved your post from a thread in a forum about a different brand RV, to its own thread in hope of improving traffic.

For help...What is the make/model of the leveling system?

Best luck

Sounds like you might have an over service issue. With the jacks fully retracted, ensure the proper tank fluid level.

We had similar retract problems with our last MH that were cured with frequent cleaning of the jack struts(rams) with the same fluid the jacks use...most use ATF(automatic trans fluid). Some owners use WD-40 for cleaning the rams, but that is Water Displacement fluid. Can't go wrong cleaning the rams with the lubing qualities of the fluid the system runs on.

If fluid coming out of tank it is too full.

It could be the vent is blocking oil flow.

Place something under tank or use hose to draw some out and leave cap off and try again.
