Can anyone tell me a phone number or website to contact about registering my rig and auto in Montana to reduce costs?

cmprsrmn Welcome to iRV2.com Youv'e come to the right place for answers and fellowship. We look forward to your paticipation.

There are apparently lots of businesses that "help" you set up a Montana L.L.C. sham company to "avoid" taxes. Many are listed in the small print ads in the back of RV magazines. Here are a few and they are provided WITHOUT recommendation:

www.rvtax.com
www.montanarv.net
www.taxfreerv.com

I'm sure you could discover lots more with a google search.

I read somewhere that the Montana Atty General, or some such state office, was looking into the legality of these arrangements (LLC) too, because they did not want to support tax avoidance by residents of other ststes. I can only suggest you reasearch carefully before you part with any serious money. ED
