Help! I've got an '89 winnebago cheiftain on a chevy p30 chassis. About a month ago my kids found the switch to turn on the patio light on the DRIVER'S side of the MH. I cannot for the life of me find that switch to turn it off! I'm ready to pull the bulb. Anyone who has any knowledge would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Try looking in your water/sewer compartment for the switch.
That is where mine is maybe yours is in there as well.
Good luck.

It's great to have you here on the forum with us. Welcome!

In order to get more exposure for your question I have created a shortcut to it in the Winnebago Owners Forum. We'll see if we can dig up an answer for you.

This is a shot in the dark. How about the head light switch/knob. Most times turning the knob will brighten or dim the dash lights. Maybe on your coach it will turn the patio light on/off.

If I had a 3 yr old around I probably would have blamed the kid too, but the culprit was plain ol' me. I found that the light switch in the water compartment turned on a light in the compartment AND the outside "patio" light. I also learned there was a second switch on the light in the compartment that would turn that light along on and off. With the light in the compartment turned off on the fixture, it took me several days to find that the main switch also operated the patio light!

I FOUND IT!!! I checked all the places you suggested and no luck. But, I was plugging into shore power to charge my coach batts for vacation and I found it in the compartment with the cord for the shore power. It's even labeled "service light on exterior left side". Darn kids! LOL You were right AFChap. Thanks a bunch you guys!
