Looking for a motorhome

Hi All,
We had a wonderful RV experience last summer but our 1997 Airstream LandYacht, 30ft, Chev 454 engine died and we're now looking for another motorhome. In particular we're thinking about the Damon Avanti. Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! No matter how many years you have been camping, you will learn something here! There are LOTS of forums that can help you narrow down your search for the "perfect" MH. And there are lots of opinions on what that "perfect" one might be! You might start by reviewing the appropriate forum (like Class A) that interests you most and reviewing some of the other posts. That should help you to refine your needs.

Good luck on your search!

I would might rethink Total Value RV in Elkhart. They try hard but lack the technical expertise needed on motorhomes. Franco their prime tech is marginal at best. He is a legend in his own mind. I have forgotten more about electronics than he thinks he knows. Jennifer, the service manager, gives it her all but doesn't have alot of help. Try another dealer... Not too sure about their sincerity in dealing with customers.

I've purchased 3 coaches from Total Value RV in Elkhart. Last one in October 2012. They have been exceptional to me in every way. Professional in the sales & service area. I will recommend them to anyone.
