Looking for Onan 6500 GenSet oil filter adapter

Hello,

I've been searching for a oil filter adapter for my Onan 6500 GenSet Emerald Plus. Does anyone have a recommendation where I might be able to get my hands on one. Been searching for a long time with no luck.

What do you mean by oil filter ADAPTER? I owned and use a 6.5 Emerald for better than 10 yrs and never had any use for an adapter for the oil filter. Do you need a easy to find filter for it? A motorcraft FL400S is a direct replacement and meets all the Onan specs and then some. Easy to find at WallyWorld stores and less than $4. If that is not what you are needing, let us know and someone will likely be able to help.

The Oil Filter Adapter (part # 122-0320 or 122-0814) is what the oil filter attaches to on the generator. Under normal circumstance you'd never have to mess with it. In my case, on the RV I just purchased, the oil filter was improperly screwed on by the previous owner (cross threaded) so I can no longer get a good seal between the oil filter and the generator.

The good news is I did another search on google this morning using the part number and low and behold I found one on Ebay that just got listed for $30. Definitely my lucky day.
