LP regulator

found the regulator leaking on my RV,
in looking for another, seems to be multiple choice.
290.-294.-299.
anyone know which is correct?
or what is the diff?
Horiz tank, 2 stage.
thanks

I don't know what those numbers you listed refer to, but LP regulators are industry standard. They all regulate to 11 W.C. inches of pressure, because that is the standard for LP appliances of all types. Just buy a regulator that matches your fittings.

Hello - one difference is the orientation of the vent. In my case I have a dual stage regulator that is horizontally mounted with the vent pointing down. This keeps road debris out of the vent - keeping it clear. I have a 299.

Good point. The orientation of the regulator (not the tank) should be the same as what you now have (probably horizontal).

I have ordered a new reg.

when I spoke to the supplier, the guy explained the diff,
basically the orientation of the vent ( or what ever you call the opening)
so I did order the 299.
not here yet, but tank is turned off,
Thank you for all your concern and help.
Happy Camping!!!!!
