For those of you who use the macerator, how far have you pumped and what size hose or line did you use? We are going to winter in Carefree, AZ at a private property and I need to know how far I can pump before I set up our hookups. Thanks

I have pumped 20 feet. It's capable of much more, but that is all the hose I have. The hose is 1 inch. Which is the minimum.

We've pumped our gray and black for about 35feet or so at a slight uphill with no problems. Our SaniCon has a hose connection at the dump end that we attached an old 5/8 garden hose to extend our reach. Worked fine and believe we could go farther if needed.

I have a FloJet macerator that I have connected to two 50' garden hoses to pump into the sewer vent. It sometimes seems sluggish but always does the job. I have found that connecting it to a 12V cigarette lighter type outlet blows the fuse about every time so I use one of those jump start packs without any fuse. It will shut itself off if overheated.

There is a flat head screwdriver slot in the bottom under a rubber cap in case it becomes jammed. A nice feature

EDIT: I forgot to mention that this is over level ground.

I also have the FloJet macerator, which installs as needed. Like Mark, I have pumped several times through a 100' long 5/8" diameter garden hose with a 7 ft lift, without any problems. These pumps do draw a lot of power and need at least 12 gauge wires supplying the 12 volt. I now have a dedicated 12 volt feed of 10 gauge wire (fused) and connected directly to the battery. Nothing seems to slow it down anymore now.

Using SaniCon I have pumped 120' horizontal/10' vertical through a 3/4" garden hose.

Well. the discharge hose I have is 3/4" by 50 feet. So that's your answer

I can pump farther.. the spec sheet says 100' as I recall

I have pumped 100' with no problem.Instead of using 1" which is hard to store I installed a T so I can connect two standard hoses in parallel. The pump runs cooler and the tanks empty quicker.

I only pump around 50' uphill, but I'm running #10 straight to the coach distribution panel that's fed with considerably larger buss cable. The LAST thing you want is a stalled out poop-pump! Everyone knows what comes after that....

I'm thinking of using a 1" PVC line to the house sewer cleanout so hopefully a 100 ft run will not be a problem.

I run about 50ft long and 10ft uphill using a 1" hose. Biggest problem is clean out when I a finished. My pump is portable with battery clips at the end of the wires. I connect to the battery feed that goes to my generator.
