Have a Magnetek 6300 series model 6345 with options C1B. The house batteries will charge if I'm plugged in to 120vac(shore power), but not if generator is running. Everything else 12 volt/120vac wise works as it should.

Anybody have any ideas?

Is there more than one circuit breaker on the generator? Find the circuit breaker in the distribution panel that feeds the converter/charger; does it have 120 volts coming out of the circuit breaker whith generator running?

With generator running, I had 124 vac throughout MH, on shore power it was 120.

With MH plugged into shore power, batteries seemed to be charging, but on generator, I could watch the battery voltage decrease on my digital meter.

Note, generator just had a new stator, bridge rectifier and voltage regulator installed Tuesday.

Pretty obvious when you're on genny, you don't have 120vac to the converter. You need to check your transfer switch if you have one, or if not, then you may have to change a connector when on genny. I found this to be true on a recent trip in a friends MH (Tropical). On my Damon, the transfer switch is built in to the converter package. I had a 6345 also, but since have changed it out to the newer 7355RU, which also provides three-state-charging.

Hope this helps
