A lot of valuable info and ideas here. Road courtesy seems like a dying "art"....unfortunately.

As an aside, the SmartWheel on our coach has "blink" features already designed and built in....a button to flash the rear tailights and a button to flash the front headlights. I use these buttons fairly often since we travel frequently on mountain highways where there is considerable passing by and passing of 18 wheelers and other motorhomes. It is a feature I love....and many other travellers seem to appreciate it as well. Any system or driver action that accomplishes the above seems worth it to me. Just MO...
