Members Mark Toilet Paper Potential WARNING!!!

We have full timed for almost 5 years. We have never had an issue with our black tank. Yes, we keep it closed. Yes, we wait till it is 3/4 to dump.

In the last two days the toilet has backed up. Utilizing a broomstick and a flashlight I have discovered a HUGE wad of toilet paper (basketball sized?). It's almost like nothing has dissolved since the last batch of Members Mark toilet paper we purchased 6 weeks ago. The tank still "drains" but the wad remains.

The trick now will be something safe that will dissolve it fast and discontinue the use of Member Mark.

Beware and be aware!

Have you tried the toilet paper test in a jar of water with your current supply of Members Mark?

Heard of a trick to check if tp is okay to use. Put some in a jar with water and give it a shake. If it dissolves, okay to use, if not, do not use.

Not yet. I'm trying to get a bottle of Pure power Blue as fast as possible.

Not sure I need to test it. I can see it and roll it around.

I have been using the same brand for years without issue. Not sure what you are doing different.

That is what baffles me.

Variables:
* New toilet - Nope, down is still down.
* Temperature? - We've been in a lot colder
* Water in this Park? - Not likely
* Sam's Club has recently changed the properties of this product? - This seems like the most likely to me.

You might want to try the Happy Campers Extreme tank treatment. It is designed for that purpose!

Thanks! We just ordered some PURE POWER (Green). It was pretty highly rated also. It should be here tomorrow.

This one kinda snuck up on us. I just wanted to give a warning to people who use that Members Mark product to be vigilant.

Maybe not always use the paper for the #1 duty. My wife never puts it down the shoot but in a separate can and it saves a lot of space down in the tank. I have seen some women use a handful at a time just to do a bit of dabbing.

Not enough water being used when flushing toilet......

I do NOT like cheap 1-ply TP
I like THICK, SOFT, FLUFFY 2-ply TP
I do NOT skimp when wiping my behind

I have NEVER had TP clog an RV toilet line to tank or residential toilet either
Current RV (10 yrs old---7 yrs FT) has TWO 45* elbows between toilet and black tank
I have NEVER had TP clog/set up in a Black Tank
I have NEVER had TP clog a black tank drain line

Water is your friend......
I ADD water to toilet bowl PRIOR to #2
I flush and let toilet water run so that all the stuff goes down the line and out into tank

3" line clogs due to LACK of water

WATER is your FRIEND.
Use more to flush
