Question Michelin X Coach HLZ

Has anyone ever tried Michelin's X Coach HLZ 295/80/22.5 tires on there motorhome ? The price is only a little more then the XZAs and it has a higher load rating (J verses H). It's designed for buses and I like the idea of the higher load rating but how much is it going to hurt the ride seeing you can run a lower air pressure? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Boy its a tough call, I am not sure who to go with either Michlin,, Bridgestone or Contanital's(sp). Personally I would go with the higher load rateing, You can always tinker with the ride, but not if you have a blow out and put her in the ditch. Heaven forbid.

I have had the Coach X for about two years now. Haven't noticed any harsh ride or other bad manners. Have around 18,000 miles with no issues at all. If I had a chance to do over I would make the same choice.

Thanks for the info 336muffin. With the history of so called RV tires I was looking to try something a little different and it looked like a good option.

I tried to go all eight tires with the Coach X but at the time they were in limited supply. I did manage two fresh dates for the steer axel and the next step down for the drive and tag. I was in a time crunch with a preplanned trip with over 6,500 miles. I did however receive all eight tires with fresh date codes, the oldest was 7 weeks.
