Miles between brake jobs

I have a 2000 30 ft. Gulfstream, Ford E450. It has 23,000 miles on it. What is the average miles between brake replacement.

Brakes

ALL depends on how you brake? I had 100,000 miles on a 1999 F-350 and never replaced the rear brakes and the fronts only one time.

Just pull one of the front wheels and look?

I have 39,000 miles on my 2008 E450 28 ft and just replaced the pads only. I have towed a Cobalt for most of those miles and now tow a Jeep Wrangler. Both toads have a surge brake. Just felt it was time. The rotors were fine.

Don't know, have never had to replace brakes on any of the MH's we've owned.

Peterrr--Thank you for your response. It contains helpful, relative info.

WBB1-- I would think brake wear would also depend on weight of the load. Was your pickup loaded like a 30 ft class C motorhome ? We are full timers, Most campground don't like owners pulling their motorhomes apart.

Mr D-- Don't know why you responded. You feel the need to offer nothing ?

TQ60-- An F250 is a light duty pickup, not a loaded "E 450 Superduty", motorhome towing a car. Is it your suggestion that I drive another 100,000 miles, without looking ?

No...

In our case it pulled many loads and we got parts to do brakes and the factory ones were still good...changed them anyway.

Everyone has different use and wear patterns and need to check them at planned intervals or whenever the chance comes up.

If needed replace if not don't

Never assume condition based only on miles...

Brake wear is hard to predict because each persons set up and driving style is different. I would have the front brakes serviced, which would include rebuilding the calipers. While doing that, check the rotors and pads to see if they need to be be replaced.
Rears can usually go longer, so if your fronts are good the rears should be OK. But you could have those checked also.
