Miles Per Gallon
I was curious what people typically average when traveling on MPG with there diesel pusher, my last trip I was at 7.4 MPG over a 6 hour trip. This has been one of my better trips for mpg, I kept speed about 68.

That's exactly what I get in the best conditions I've encountered so far.

In 32,208 miles the coach has used 4067.1 gallons of diesel for an average of 7.92 MPG. This is in all types of driving conditions and nearly always towing the toad. It also includes some 289 hours of generator usage.

I have a CAT 3126E in a 2003 Damon Ultrasport and the average for 90,000 miles is 8.5 mpg. I generally drive between 65 and 70 mph. We tow a 2004 Buick LaSabre with a tow dolly.

We normally drive US highways that pass through small towns and average 7.6 mpg pulling a Jeep Cherokee. I imagine we'd get slightly better on the interstate without all the stops and less up and down the hills.

8.95 last trip. Opened up intake and removed full mud flap. Now 9.2. Pulling Accord. Will save thousands $ over next 50k miles.
Newer diesels get better MPG. Includes short idling and gen usage. Cant idle new diesels over 10 min saves fuel. Never in a rush, retired.

After abou 8K Miles including a trip out through the four corners area I was surprised that my LBCU indicated 8.5. I reset it before this trip, about 700 miles so far, and it again is showing 8.5. Of course this does not account for generator time, I cruise between 60mph and 65mph, and tow a CRV.
I know the LBCU is t always accurate but still, I'm happy with that.

We have a 8.3L 350 HP ISC, Windsor is heavy and always towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Average 8.1 mpg. Last year on a trip out west I tried to limit my speed to 65 mph, it didn't seem to make a difference.

Depending on weather and how fast I drive we usually average 8 to 8.5 mpg towing our VW Passat Diesel on a Demco dolly.
A heavy foot results in less mileage.

Same-ish. I cruise about 70 with a S10Blazer in tow. 7.5 mpg at $2.30/gal = 31 cents per mile. 8 mpg = 29 cpm.
