From what I see on the load tables, it appears that the minimum pressure for my Goodyear tires is 80 PSI even though I am well below the weight for this pressure. The way I am reading the table, any 245X70/19.5 manufactured after Feb of 2006 has a minimum pressure of 80 and any tire manufactured before that date can be safely aired down to 70 if the coach is light enough.

Am I reading this right?

Thanks,
Mike

That's the way I read it too. There is a minimum safe inflation pressure for any tire, to avoid overheating and excessive tread wear on the outer edges of the tread.

Likewise, there is a maximum safe pressure.
